About this piece
Natural oak on top and white below, this 42-inch round table gives a two-tone look to a kitchen with white cabinets. The X-trestle legs are poplar. With its butterfly leaf in place, the top becomes a 54-inch oval for six.
Assembly is a two-person job, and the finished table weighs 88.2 pounds, so build it in the room where it will stand. The 12-inch leaf folds on itself and tucks beneath the top, ready for the next time your guest list grows. Loads up to 300 pounds sit within its rating.
