    ERYE curved sofas

A curved sofa bends its back into an arc. The people at each end turn slightly toward each other instead of staring at the same wall. That makes it a sofa for the middle of a room, with a path behind it, or for a bay window with a curve of its own. Widths run 84 to 125.98 inches on most models, and many are cloud builds that arrive compressed.

Seats on a curve run deeper than on our straight sofas, 20.9 to 29.52 inches on most models, which leaves room to sit sideways or tuck your feet up. Boucle is the favorite cover, with chenille, faux leather and velvet after it. Some come with a matching curved ottoman that hides storage and closes the circle when you pull it in close.

    Questions about ERYE curved sofas

That is where a curve sits most naturally, with a walkway behind it and a rug or table in front. Leave enough space behind the back for people to pass, and turn the sofa so the curve faces the TV or the fireplace, whichever holds the room together.

Our curves usually seat four, with two on the loveseat-size pieces and six to eight on the large curved sectionals. The arc spreads people along it, so a curved sofa seats a little looser than a straight one of the same width.

Many do. The cloud curves travel as compressed foam in cartons and swell to shape once unwrapped, and some curved boucle sofas come nearly assembled in one large box. Framed curved sectionals come in sections that you join at home, with legs to screw on.
