Prices, colors and availability move at our retail partner, and we bring our pages in line on a schedule. The catalog was last updated on October 7, 2026.
What we update
Four things change often enough to need a schedule: the price of each piece, whether it can be bought right now, the colors it comes in, and the widths or configurations sold.
A piece that cannot be bought at the moment comes off our pages at the next update and returns when it is available again. Measurements that belong to the piece itself, such as width, depth, seat height and weight capacity, stay as they are unless the piece changes.
How often
We update the whole catalog on a regular schedule rather than piece by piece, so every price on our pages dates from the same update.
Between updates a price moves at our retail partner without waiting for us. When that happens, the checkout shows the newer figure, and the checkout figure is the one you pay.
Where the figures come from
Every figure comes from our catalog data for that piece: its dimensions, seat measurements, fabric, colors, motors and weight capacity, as stated in its own specifications. Where a figure is missing for a piece, its line stays empty until the number exists.
Prices are the prices at our last update. Delivery options and tax are worked out at checkout, based on your address.
Safety statements and their sources
When our pages mention flammability labels, formaldehyde rules, furniture tip-overs or recliner mechanisms around small children, the statement stays inside what a named public source says. Those sources are the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment and the National Institute on Aging.
Each source is listed at the end with a link and the date we read it.
When a figure looks wrong
Write to livingroom@erye.org with the name of the piece, the color and the figure you saw. We correct our pages at the next update, and sooner when the error is a measurement.

On a regular schedule, and all at once, so every price on our pages comes from the same update. Between updates, the checkout at our retail partner carries any newer figure.
It comes off our pages at the next update. We keep its details in our catalog and bring the page back when the piece can be bought again, with the price from that update.
Our pages show the price of the piece at our last update. Delivery options, any delivery cost and sales tax are worked out at our retail partner's checkout once you enter your address.
