What we publish

Three kinds of material appear on erye.org. Catalog figures, meaning prices, colors and availability, come from our catalog data at the last update. Measurements, meaning width, depth, height, seat depth, seat height and weight capacity, come from each piece's own specifications. Guides are written by the ERYE team to help you measure, compare and choose.

We write in US English and give every measurement in inches, the way a tape measure in an American home reads.

Reviews and ratings

We do not publish invented reviews, and we do not write customer quotes. Where a star rating appears on a piece, it is the average rating and the count of ratings for that piece at our last update.

Safety statements

When a page speaks about flammability labels, formaldehyde, furniture tip-overs, recliner mechanisms around small children or getting in and out of a chair, the statement stays within what a named public source says. The sources are listed on How we update with links and the date we read them, and each guide names its own at the end.

Corrections

When we find an error, or a reader tells us about one, we fix the page at the next update, and sooner when a measurement is wrong. Write to livingroom@erye.org with the page and the figure.

The company behind the pages

ERYE has been on the market since 2021. The pages are published by ERYE, and the retail partner behind the buy buttons has no say in what they contain.

Measure once, then choose your ERYE piece

When the tape agrees with the numbers, every piece in the ERYE selection is one button away from our retail partner's checkout.
