We collect little about you, and we keep it only as long as it helps us answer you or improve our pages.
What we collect
When you browse our pages we keep basic visit statistics: which pages are opened, the site that sent you, the type of device and browser, and when a buy button is pressed. These counts are kept as totals and are not used to identify you.
When you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write, and we use them to reply.
Cookies
The site sets a few technical cookies that remember settings such as region and currency. They carry no personal details, and your browser lets you delete or block them at any time.
Buy buttons and our retail partner
A buy button takes you to our retail partner. Checkout, payment, delivery and returns all happen there, and what you share during a purchase falls under the partner's privacy policy rather than ours. The partner also records that you arrived from our pages, which is how a referral is credited.
How we use it
Visit statistics tell us which pages help people choose and which need work. Emails are used to answer questions and to correct our pages. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
An email stays with us while the conversation is open and for a reasonable time afterward, so a follow-up has its context. Visit statistics are kept as totals by day.
Your choices
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to livingroom@erye.org. Residents of states with their own privacy laws, California among them, hold these rights under those laws as well.
Children
Our pages are meant for adults choosing furniture, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
When the policy changes, the new version replaces the old one at the same address.
